Officiating Your Ceremony Is Our Greatest Pleasure!
We would like to thank J.J. for helping to make our wedding special and so memorable. J.J. did a wonderful job and we will certainly recommend him and Can-A-Lope Weddings to any of our friends who may be planning a wedding. We initially had some reservations about having someone perform the ceremony that we did not even know. However, I must say that J.J. immediately put everyone at ease with his easy and friendly manner. Thanks again J.J.!
Thank you.!!!! Larry made our day perfect!! He was very professional from the very beginning...from the first conversation to the day of the ceremony.....I would highly recommend Larry and Can-A-lope Weddings for understanding the stress of planning a wedding...
My goodness what a stress free way to tie the knot!! Steve was the most special man you could have ever sent to Dennis and I. At the end of a quick ceremony we had a beautiful new friend, he is a local man and was familiar with many things such as great wines, great cheese, great restaurants, and learning that he has married over 500 couples. Steve went the nine extra yards for us given the short notice. Dennis and I highly recommend him. Thank you Can-A- Lope Weddings, from the happily married Mrs Sandra.
We just wanted to thank you for Pastor Dave Rydell's incredible services. Our wedding took place last Thursday and he did a wonderful job!! He was so personable and included our whole family (the kids too) in the ceremony. He has wonderful suggestions that helped us create a ceremony that truly represented us. Everything, from the planning to the actual ceremony, was very smooth. Thank you again.
This past Sunday, one of your Justices of the Peace, Helen, performed a non-religious wedding service at our home in Springfield.
Just wanted to leave a message and let you know how special Pastor Griffin made our ceremony. I still have so many family and friends still calling and complimenting him on what an excellent job he did and how inspiring his message was. There were actually 2 family members that hadn't spoken to each other in over 2 years, but they were so inspired by his message they actually reconciled that evening at our reception. We were all so happy about this. Again, I want to thank him for making my ceremony so special and for touching the hearts of all of my guests.

We are just a few weeks away from the official start of the fall season here in the Ozarks, in fact I've been noticing the leaves are all ready starting to turn colors of red, orange, yellow and I can't wait to see all the beautiful photos of fall weddings. There's just something wonderful and special about romance mixed with beautiful pumpkins, fall leaves, and the charm of the Ozarks.
Well, summer is here and so is the hot weather. Brides are gearing up and preparing for those hot days and planning their perfect wedding ceremony. Try to provide heat relief. No matter how much you love the sun, your guests will probably want a few ways to escape the heat. Make sure an outdoor venue offers some shade or provide some air-conditioning (tent rentals can include portable air-conditioning systems). Instead of having guests sweat throughout the ceremony, just before it starts, have an usher or someone to pass out small ice-cold hand towels across the rows.
Everything went great. Tony and Jodi were a beautiful couple. And there was a surprise twist to the day. A square dance group was planning an event by "The Cannon" at the same time as the wedding. They were all excited so everyone wanted to be part of the celebration. The elopement for two ended up as a wedding with about 75 guests. There were pictures, videos and warm wishes all around. Several people promise to email the photos to Tony and Jodi. I believed they enjoyed their wedding. So thanks for everything and say hello to Jeff for me.
